Consumption Should be drunk young or laid down for two to three years. A fine accompaniment to roasts, sausage and cheeses.
Colour Wine which is crystalline in appearance, garnet-coloured.
Aroma An aroma of red fruits and fermentation on skins.
Flavour Smooth and full-bodied with smooth tannins lending it a prolonged aftertaste, denoting its constituent grape varieties.
